Q1- Mom, Blessed Mother Mary, pray for me. Please help me be a blessing to my family over Thanksgiving. What can I do that would be appreciated? I would like to get my mom a centerpiece of flowers for the table. What else could we do? (me and DB)
*** She will appreciate a bouquet for the table. She is just happy to have everyone there at once. She could always use help in the kitchen, even if it is just keeping her company. You know she stresses out, so you could be a force of calm and loving help instead of an irritant (like you can tend to be sometimes…) LOL
-ha, yes, I know that is true and I hope to turn that response around and begin to be more a blessing than an irritant in my mother’s life. I’ll need your help. This is 47 almost 48 years of conditioning. I will need divine providence to accomplish this! Lol.
*** You can do this. Just pray before, during and after and rely on grace this Thanksgiving. You can do this- you got this! I will help you.
Q2-Jesus, help me to be in control and stick to some semblance of lower calorie Thanksgiving and help me stay vegan. No turkey for this chick. Why is this so difficult? I know, I know. I eat my stress to keep a manageable existence. I really and truly need your help. I know you want me to lose weight, get healthy and fit, etc- yadayada… but I need the grace to do this.
*** Try to go for walks before and after dinner on Thanksgiving. Talk with me, help your mom in the kitchen and stay busy enjoying everyone, relax. It is not the end of the world if you have one day a little higher in calories ,you can make up for it the following weeks with exercise and a strict logging of your intake. Just enjoy. You are blessed beyond measure. Don’t allow this to frustrate you or upset you anymore. Change your attitude on this and your weight will fall off. Rely on my help. I am with you. I know how it is. I feel your pain. Lol. I know what you are going though, seriously, I know.
Q3- Dad, Thank you for giving me a family of such great love and the spirit of laughter permeates our house- growing up and now in mine. What would I do without a good sense of humor and love of fun? Life would be so boring and sad. What can I do to make more people smile, laugh and have fun? I want to share all that I have been given in this regard. I love you, dad! Thank you for always hearing my prayers.
*** I wish you would ask more favors. I love to give good gifts to my kids… especially the ones that are appreciative. I know you are and even when you don’t think you are appreciative, you are incorrect. I see you smiling at the sky, appreciating the little things in life. You are very observant and thankful in your heart. Your joy is makes me happy. You put a smile on my face every day! What you can do to share this gift, is to try not to take life so seriously. I know it can be difficult, but just look towards me and ask my help. I will bless your fun and bless your laughter and love. You just keep being you and look up! The sky is the limit. There is not end to the joys I have in store for you and for all those that love me.
Q4- Love, Holy Spirit, thank you so much for leading me back to the board meetings. I feel renewed and have learned a valuable lesson! I will never give up. I have a destiny awaiting and I will hold tight to my marching orders. I am patient and waiting for God’s lead. Through you, I get my assignments, information, love, strength, support and you are wonderful to me! Help me make you my best friend who I can lean on and chat with you always getting my clear communication and all that I need to accomplish my assignment. Help me know what to do, where to go and how to do it. It that is every step I take, I desire to be in step with you! I need to grow in this. What should I do to get where I need to be? How do I walk closer with you?
***I am always with you. Only look to me, count on me… and I will never let you down. Sing in tongues. This will bless you and strengthen your spirit. If you ask me a question, you will get a response. Trust in me. It is a friendship that needs cultivating. When you spend quiet time with God, you will feel my presence. I am always here for you.
